Client Obligations
To ensure successful project completion, clients are responsible for:
Content and Materials
- Providing all necessary content, images, and materials in a timely manner
- Ensuring all provided content is original or properly licensed
- Reviewing and approving designs and functionality at each milestone
- Providing clear and specific feedback within agreed timeframes
Technical Requirements
- Providing access to hosting accounts, domain registrations, and third-party services
- Ensuring compatibility requirements are clearly communicated
- Testing delivered work in the agreed timeline
Communication
- Responding to our communications within 72 hours
- Providing a single point of contact for the project
- Attending scheduled meetings and calls
Timeline Impact
Delays in providing required materials or feedback may result in project timeline extensions. Additional charges may apply for extended project timelines due to client delays.

Important Payment Information
Development Fee: The quoted project cost is a one-time development fee. After project completion, clients are responsible for annual domain charges and hosting fees.
Changes After Completion: Any changes requested after project completion will be charged at ₹1400 per change request.

- The development fee is one-time only - subsequent changes will incur additional charges
- Clients are responsible for annual domain registration and hosting fees
Refund Policy
All payments made to Rhythmwebdev are non-refundable. Once a payment or deposit is made, it cannot be refunded. We commit to delivering the agreed-upon services as outlined in our project proposals and contracts.
Ongoing Costs
- Domain Registration: Annual fee payable to domain registrar (varies by TLD)
- Hosting Fees: Monthly/Annual hosting charges based on selected plan
- Content Changes: ₹1400 per change request after project completion
- Technical Support: Available at hourly rates after warranty period
Late Payment Policy
- Invoices are due within 7 days of issue
- Late payment fee of 2% per month may be applied
- Work may be suspended for payments overdue by more than 14 days
- Completed work will not be delivered until full payment is received
- Legal action may be pursued for payments overdue by more than 30 days

Intellectual Property
Client Ownership
Upon full payment, clients own:
- Final website or application code (excluding third-party components)
- Custom designs created specifically for the project
- Content and materials provided by the client
- Domain names registered by or for the client
Rhythmwebdev Retention
We retain rights to:
- Development methodologies and frameworks
- General techniques and know-how
- Code libraries and templates (non-custom components)
- Use completed projects in our portfolio (unless confidentiality is agreed)
Third-Party Components
Projects may include:
- Open-source libraries and frameworks (MIT, GPL licenses)
- Licensed fonts, images, or plugins (client responsible for ongoing licenses)
- Third-party APIs and services (subject to their terms)
Clients are responsible for ongoing license compliance for any third-party components.
Revisions and Changes
Included Revisions
Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds:
- Basic Websites: 2 rounds of revisions
- Business/Portfolio Sites: 3 rounds of revisions
- E-commerce/Advanced: 4 rounds of revisions
- Logo Design: 2-3 rounds based on package
Additional Revisions
Beyond included revisions:
- Minor changes: ₹500-1,500 per change
- Major changes: 10-25% of original project cost
- Scope changes: Separate quotation required
Revision Guidelines
- Revisions must be requested within 7 days of delivery
- All feedback should be consolidated into a single communication
- Major scope changes may require timeline adjustments
- Changes affecting functionality may incur additional costs
- Revisions requested after project completion are billed at hourly rates
Warranties and Disclaimers

- Compatibility with future browser updates or technology changes
- Third-party service reliability or uptime
Limitation of Liability
Liability Limits
Our total liability for any project is limited to:
- The total amount paid by the client for the specific project
- Direct damages only (no consequential or indirect damages)
- Claims must be made within 6 months of project delivery
Excluded Damages
We are not liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Data loss or corruption (clients should maintain backups)
- Third-party service failures or downtime
- Hosting or domain-related issues
- SEO ranking changes or penalties
- Client's misuse of delivered products
Termination
Client Termination
Clients may terminate projects by:
- Providing written notice of termination
- Paying for all work completed up to termination date
- Paying any cancellation fees (25% of remaining project cost)
- Forfeiting any deposits or payments made
Our Termination Rights
We may terminate projects if:
- Client fails to make payments as agreed
- Client fails to provide required materials or feedback for 14+ days
- Client violates these terms or acts in bad faith
- Legal or regulatory reasons require termination
In case of our termination, clients will be liable for work completed up to termination date.
Privacy and Confidentiality

We agree to keep confidential:
- Client business plans and strategies
- Proprietary information shared for project purposes
- Sensitive client data and credentials
Data Protection
We implement appropriate measures to protect client data:
- Secure storage of credentials and sensitive information
- Limited access to confidential materials

- Secure disposal of temporary files and materials
Portfolio Usage
Unless otherwise agreed:
- We may display completed projects in our portfolio
- We may use project screenshots for marketing purposes
- We may list client names as references
